Marriage equality in Asotin County |

ASOTIN, WA - Asotin County had its first same-sex marriage couple apply for a marriage license this morning.

Heidi Rickett and Dawn Lipke of Orofino applied for a license under the state's new same-sex marriage law, which took effect at midnight. Washington State has a three day waiting period, so the earliest couples can be officially married is Sunday.
