Lewiston woman finds $100 gift card on windshield | Community Spirit
A 24-year-old single mom wants to thank an "extremely kind hearted person" who left a $100 Walmart gift card on the windshield of her car early Tuesday while it was parked in the 700 block of 21st Street in Lewiston.
Jessica Kohler of Lewiston, who is the mom of 1-year-old Tucker and three-year-old Allie, is a nursing student at Walla Walla Community College and works at Valley Medical Center, and plans to ultimately go to school to be a nurse anesthesiologist.
Kohler says the gift card was left on the windshield of her car while it was parked in front of Sick Precision between 12:30 and 12:50 this afternoon. "THANK YOU! It's so nice to know there are such good people out there," she says.
"It means a lot! It's hard when I work full time, school full time (which cuts into work time), and being a single mom full time. It means my kiddos can get some extra Christmas presents! My paychecks have been suffering since I started school. I make it by just fine, but extra help is always so nice," Kohler says, adding that she has no idea who left the gift card.
