Orofino woman sentenced for drug trafficking offense | Crime
The U.S. District Court sentenced an Orofino woman yesterday for conspiracy to distribute meth.
51-year-old Robin L. Spender will spend 24 months in prison and three years of supervised release following her term because of the drug trafficking offense.
Spender pled guilty to the charge earlier this year and during court testimony, Spender admitted she used her home as a stash house for trafficking.
She was indicted by a federal grand jury in January along with three of her co-defendants.
Judge Lodge noted her lack of previous criminal history and her post-arrest rehabilitation work. Spencer will also have to perform 150 hours of community service.
