Man Wanted on National Warrant Arrested Near Lewiston | Crime
Officials have confirmed that a 40-year-old Lewiston man who was the subject of a nationwide warrant was taken into custody along US 95 between Moscow and Lewiston Monday afternoon.
Brian Pratt is being held in the Nez Perce County Jail. He was found guilty in March in Lewiston's Second District Court on four felony counts associated with a months-long methamphetamine investigation by the Lewiston Police Department.
Pratt had appeared in court for the first day of trial, but he then disappeared. The trial continued without him, and an arrest warrant was issued. On March 20th, the jury found Pratt guilty of trafficking in methamphetamine or amphetamine by manufacture, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and a persistent violator enhancement.
He was arrested in early September after detectives executed a search warrant on his shop in the 1200 block of Cedar Avenue. According to a previous news release "detectives successfully recovered over 15 ounces of Methamphetamines, with a street value of approximately $17,000.00."
