Pardee Fire 90 percent contained | News
The 300-acre Pardee Fire that has been burning since Monday morning has reached 90 percent containment as of Thursday afternoon.
The fire was started by lightening around 7am Monday morning. Fire managers report that the fire is entirely lined they are focusing on using water hoses to cool and break up smoldering fuels from the fireline.
The plan is to begin demobilizing some resources by Friday morning. The fire is between Greer and Kamiah on the east side of the Clearwater River about eight miles from Kamiah in Idaho County. The land is in the Idaho Department of Lands Maggie Creek Forest Protective District.
