911 Systems Now Operational After Server Issues | News

System issues with Lewiston Police’s 9-1-1 operations did not affect their ability to respond to incidents yesterday and today. Emergency calls were coming in, but data such as location and phone number were not received.

Communications commander, Cindy Felton, with the department says system issues are rare, but this incident did not affect their ability to respond to situations. The problem was fixed today.

It was determined it was a software server error.
