FAA Investigating Small Plane Crash In Lewiston

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a small plane crash that happened Sunday evening. At around 5:49 p.m., the Lewiston/Nez Perce County Airport called Lewiston dispatch to report an imminent plane crash.

The single-engine aircraft was later found in a field northwest of the Bryden Canyon Golf Course.

The pilot, Gerald Bradley, 65, of Breckenridge, Colorado was not injured in the crash and was able to get out. Bradley was en route to Spokane with three other planes, with a final destination of Alaska. The group was detoured to Lewiston due to weather.

Lewiston Police says the plane lost power to the engine on approach to the airport.
