It's been a busy time of year for collisions in the region. Another accident blocked both directions of Highway 195 about five miles south of Pullman at about 6:40 p.m. on Monday night.
Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes after the two-car collision injured two people. Mary A. High, 58, and Helen I. Litchfield, 85, both of Grangeville, Idaho, were sent to Pullman Hospital. Litchfield was later transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
WSP says the driver, Gracie S. Senter, 68, of Pullman, crossed the center line striking the other vehicle heading northbound. Senter was not injured in the accident.
The road was reopened to traffic around 9:50 p.m.
