Student hit by car getting off bus, hospitalized
A juvenile was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center this afternoon following a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at about 3:11 p.m.
According to Clarkston Superintendent Darcy Weisner, the unidentified student had stepped off of a school bus at 13th Street and 20th Avenue and was struck by a vehicle that was passing on the right.
The bus had its flashers and sign engaged, Weisner says.
Other students were on the bus and were transferred to another school bus. Washington State Patrol is on scene investigating the incident.
