Missing Olympia Teen Found in Asotin County

A 16-year-old Olympia girl who was reported missing May 31st was found in Asotin County Tuesday night after a citizen tip led Asotin County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Destry Jackson to her location one-and-a-half miles south of Anatone.

Captain Dan Hally says Caitlyn Bell was discovered "sitting along side the road" just before 9:00 p.m. Bell, who has pancreatic cancer and mental illness, and has been in need of medical attention, according to officials.

A family member posted earlier on the Big Country News Connection Facebook page that Bell "appeared to be physically okay but dazed, confused and disoriented." Hally says the girl was transported to Tri-State Memorial Hospital and is now being held in juvenile detention pending her return to Olympia.
