Title (Max 100 Characters)
A commenter on Spokane's South Hill page shared a neat story about turkeys. They were near Lewiston playing kickball in the snow when they saw a few turkeys.
Gail writes: "Not so much an unusual place as doing an unusual job. A few years ago we were up at Field Springs camp (outside Lewiston) for Thanksgiving. Friday afternoon we were playing kickball in the snow when a herd of cows came down the road, being herded by a flock of wild turkeys. The turkeys followed the cattle into their feeding corral and proceeded to peck at the base of the haystacks looking for stray kernels."
In KXLY's neck of the woods, turkeys are a rejoiced sight and frequently shared on social media. We make sure to make a spectacle of it.
